Medical Laboratory Technologist - Microbiology

Schedule: - Weekend: Every third weekend - Call: None

Assignment Details: - Contract Length: 8 to 10 weeks - Guaranteed Hours: Full-time

Requirements: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in microbiology - ASCP certification required - Experience with culture setup, reading, organism identification, sensitivities, and molecular/PCR testing (BioFire, Cepheid)

Roles & Responsibilities: - Process microbiology samples, including sample processing and plating - Perform culture reading and organism identification - Conduct gram stains and positive blood culture workup - Execute molecular/PCR testing (BioFire, Cepheid) - Maintain specimen quality control and accessioning

Compliance / Notes: - Full compliance required to start on time; non-compliance may delay start - Orientation hours are non-billable and determined by contract length - Requested Time Off (RTO) must be finalized at submission; no changes post-offer.
