Job Opportunity: OBGYN Residency Program Director

Our organization, a physician-led multispecialty group with over 120 providers, is on the lookout for an OBGYN Residency Program Director to join our team in Fresno, California. We are affiliated with a highly regarded medical center that has been recognized as the Best Regional Hospital by U.S. News & World Report.

Situated in Central California, our location boasts a lower cost of living and is conveniently close to stunning natural attractions such as Yosemite, Kings Canyon, and Sequoia National Parks. Additionally, we are within a reasonable driving distance to major cities like San Francisco, Los Angeles, and the Central Coast, with easy air travel options available through direct flights to most major hubs. Key Responsibilities

Oversee, coordinate, and manage the integrated OB-GYN Residency Program at our affiliated medical center, ensuring compliance with ACGME standards.
Stay updated on the latest clinical advancements and practices in the field of OBGYN.
Engage actively in professional activities that enhance resident training, both in clinical and educational settings.
Provide leadership and guidance to OBGYN residents during their didactic and clinical training.
This role is structured as a full-time position, with 0.5 FTE dedicated to program directorship and 0.5 FTE in clinical practice.

Qualifications

Extensive knowledge and experience in graduate medical education within an ACGME-accredited teaching hospital and OBGYN program.
A minimum of one year of experience as a Program Director within the last five years, or at least three years as an Associate Program Director during the same timeframe.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with resident physicians, teaching faculty, hospital administration, and other staff members.
A genuine passion for leadership development and mentoring residents.
Possession of a full and unrestricted medical license from the California State Medical Board, along with current OBGYN Board Certification.
