Step into an impactful opportunity serving early childhood learners as a skilled Occupational Therapist on a contract assignment near Minooka, IL. This position offers the chance to create meaningful change in a school-based setting, working with a supportive team and developing personalized strategies to foster students' growth. The role provides a consistent schedule of 37.5-40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, running now through late May of 2027.
Key qualifications:
- Current Illinois Occupational Therapist license
- Experience or strong interest in school-based occupational therapy
- Understanding of early childhood development
- Collaborative approach and excellent communication skills
- Ability to design and deliver individualized interventions
Responsibilities include:
- Evaluating students’ motor development, sensory processing, and functional abilities
- Collaborating with teachers, service providers, and families to support student needs
- Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans and interventions
- Monitoring progress and maintaining accurate records in accordance with school requirements
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing expertise to interdisciplinary teams
