Assistant Maintenance SupervisorDraper and Kramer is a family owned company with over 130 years of experience providing vertically integrated property and financial services throughout the United States. Specifically, our services include multi-family residential and commercial property management, acquisition, development, debt and equity commercial financing.The Assistant Maintenance Supervisor reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager. While specific responsibilities will vary based on location, this candidate will be responsible to assist with the physical asset management of the property and is on call 24/7 for maintenance emergencies when the Maintenance Supervisor is on vacation. The ability to assist with managing a staff, multi-task and be adaptive to changing responsibilities while keeping a positive attitude are crucial. Strong communication and organizational skills are also key. This role is located in McKinney, Texas.ResponsibilitiesWork with Maintenance Supervisor to ensure effective administration of building systems including HVAC, boiler maintenance and other related tasksRespond promptly and effectively to emergencies according to documented proceduresWork in coordination with Maintenance Supervisor and Management with staff, vendors, contractors, and residents to promote and sustain the safety, cleanliness and upkeep of the building including regular property walks, work orders and preventative maintenanceAssist Maintenance Supervisor with the keeping of detailed records of facilities maintenance for mechanical systems, pool, and elevators as well as scheduling and managing the maintenance/janitorial staffAssist with various additional maintenance tasks as neededScheduleMonday - Friday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pmThere is a rotating on-call schedule with the teamQualifications5+ years' experience in multifamily facilitiesHVAC Certification or corresponding experienceStrong customer service skillsProficiency in basic computer operationsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsMust be a self-starter and able to multi-taskAbility to work in a fast-paced work environment which may require working holidays, weekends and nights based on needs at site location and in cases of emergencyStrong time management, organizational and problem-solving skillsCompensationHourly Rate Range: $ 26.00 - $28.00Benefits401(k) with a company matchMedical, Dental, Vision and Health Savings AccountsCompany Paid Life, AD&D, LTD, and STDPTOCompany Paid Family Leave ProgramTuition Reimbursement ProgramIt always has been and continues to be Draper and Kramer's policy that employees should be able to enjoy a work environment free from all forms of unlawful employment discrimination.
