Loan Review Analyst

Each associate is responsible for monitoring credit risk through file reviews, performing credit analysis on specific borrower, conducting data analysis on the portfolio to determine trends, risks, process flaws, etc. Function assists in ensuring all risks are identified and monitored as related to the lending function. Will work more independently, mentor less experienced associates and be more proactive in examination and discussion of risks.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesReview loan portfolio to determine level of credit risk.Complete analytical research on the loan portfolio include concentration analysis, stress testing, exception trends, etc.Assist in the methodology and process for calculating the allowance for loan losses.Prepare summary reports for Board and Management reviewAssist in the preparation of monthly asset quality reportsReview and approve all change of loan status forms and complete impairment analysis as needed.Assist in monitoring and tracking of credit discounts on acquired assets.Will work more independently, mentor less experienced associates and be more proactive in examination and discussion of risks.Ensures all departmental documents and activities are performed in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures as applicable to this position, including completion of required compliance training.Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
