Job Title: Low Voltage Technician

Job Description

Join our team as a Low Voltage Technician, where you will play a crucial role in the installation and maintenance of advanced control systems for commercial projects. Your first assignment will be a school remodel, with the potential to work on new builds such as a school in Castle Rock. Drive time is compensated, or transportation to the site will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain low voltage cabling on commercial projects.
• Work on the installation, repair, service, and maintenance of electronic, pneumatic, and Direct Digital Controls (DDC).
• Design, engineer, and install energy management systems for commercial buildings.
• Implement web-enabled control systems to allow remote monitoring and adjustments.
• Occasionally travel with per diem provided.

Essential Skills

• General labor experience in low voltage installations.
• Knowledge of fire alarm systems and automation systems.
• Experience with conduit and cabling installation.
• 2+ years of experience in low voltage cabling.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Understanding of wiring on a jobsite.
• Commercial experience is a plus.
• Experience in fire alarm and digital controls is beneficial.

Work Environment

Work hours are Monday through Friday, from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM on most jobs. Expect a standard 40-hour workweek with potential for overtime.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Westminster, CO.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
