HVAC/R Field Diagnostics Technician

Are you comfortable shifting from a chiller call to a boiler adjustment, then documenting every detail with precision? If that sounds like you, read on.What you’ll doConduct routine inspections and troubleshoot refrigeration, HVAC, and mechanical systems using technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools (including ohmmeters).Repair and restore operation for air conditioning units, boilers, ammonia refrigeration systems, plumbing fixtures, and appliance components.Install, retrofit, and maintain HVAC/R systems in accordance with engineered designs and safety protocols.Use welding methods to repair or fabricate mechanical components when required.Read and interpret HVAC drawings to pinpoint faults and implement effective solutions.Capture accurate service logs, inspection notes, and repair reports for complete traceability.What you bringDemonstrated experience as a technician specializing in HVAC/R or refrigeration systems.Practical exposure to construction projects involving installation or maintenance of mechanical systems.Familiarity with property maintenance duties related to mechanical systems oversight.Knowledge of plumbing, appliance repair, boiler operations, and general equipment repair.Ability to accurately read schematics and work from technical diagrams.Mechanical acumen; experience in welding, boiler upkeep, or ammonia refrigeration is a plus.Proven field service experience on HVAC/R units or mechanical equipment in commercial/industrial settings.Why you’ll like it hereDental insuranceHealth insuranceVision insuranceWork Location: In person #J-18808-Ljbffr
