RN - PCU

Registered Nurse Stepdown

The position requires a Registered Nurse with experience in a stepdown unit. The typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5, adjusted for acuity. Candidates will engage in a combination of PCU and Med/Tele beds. A blocked schedule will be provided whenever possible. Orientation includes classroom instruction and appointments with health and HR as needed. Candidates should expect a call from the clinical team and may receive a voicemail if they do not answer. Candidates must allow 48 hours for follow-up inquiries regarding their application. Quick start requests must be approved by the onboarding team prior to placement. The charting system used is MEDITECH. This position does not require a BSN. The trauma level within the facility is level 3. The care setting is acute. The primary shift for this role is day shifts.
