About the Position

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Every other weekend and every other holiday required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an 18-bed Neuro ICU setting with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio, adjustable based on acuity
• Monitor and assess neurological patients, responding promptly to changes in condition
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Float to the Neuro IMC unit as needed based on staffing and census demands

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of ICU or Neuro ICU nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NIHSS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CCRN, SCRN, or CNRN certification preferred
• Prior experience with Epic EMR
• Experience floating to IMC or step-down neurology units
