As a Screener at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help create a welcoming, professional environment by screening visitors and belongings, monitoring access points, and supporting site protocols. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.44 / Hour Job Schedule: Thur: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Fri: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Sat: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Sun: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and deliveries in accordance with established access-control procedures; verify credentials and direct individuals to appropriate entry points. Operate screening equipment and complete required inspections while maintaining a professional, respectful, and customer-focused presence. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; promptly communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, entrances, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter; document security-related activities and report unusual conditions. Minimum Requirements: Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. X-Ray screening experience is preferred. Access control/badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
