The Ben Gibby Agency has served Davis County for 23 years. We're looking for a competitive, coachable person who wants their income tied to their effort. You'll help families and individuals find better coverage, representing Allstate, whose competitive pricing and bundle discounts give you a strong offer to make. Leads are provided, along with the training and tools you need to succeed.

This is a full-time, in-office position in Layton, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with no nights or weekends.

Pay is $20/hr base plus uncapped commission on every policy you write. Our current producer averages about $81,000 a year, and top performers can earn more.

Not licensed yet? That's okay. Pass the Utah Property & Casualty exam and we'll reimburse your licensing costs. Get licensed quickly and you'll also earn a signing bonus. Already licensed? You qualify for the signing bonus when you start.

We're a small, close team, and the owner works in the office alongside you. Interviews are scheduled within 48 hours of applying.

Responsibilities

• Contact prospective clients and follow up consistently
• Quote and bundle auto, home, renters, and life insurance
• Explain coverage options clearly and recommend the right fit for each client
• Help current clients with policy changes, questions, and coverage reviews
• Build relationships that lead to referrals
• Write 30+ policies per month (most producers reach this quickly), with top performers pushing for 50+
• Work alongside the team to make sure every client call reaches a real person

Requirements

• Utah Property & Casualty license, or willingness to pass the exam before your start date (we reimburse licensing costs)
• Sales or customer service experience; insurance experience is a plus but not required
• Competitive and motivated by commission-based pay
• Confident and professional on the phone
• Self-starter who follows up without being reminded
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Positive attitude and works well on a small team
