Part Time Patient Customer Service Representative

As a Customer Service Representative , you’ll help patients check into the hospital, answering questions during registration, collecting information accurately, and listening with compassion to address concerns. You’ll need to be a confident multi‑tasker, quick study with technology, able to type and answer phones. No previous healthcare experience required. You should be prepared to see illness and injuries. We provide training. Must be up to date on vaccinations, pass a drug test, and background check. Responsibilities Work on computers and answer phones to intake information in a busy environment, working across multiple screens; input data accurately under time pressure. Help patients who may be ill or worried; listen carefully and ease their anxiety, ask follow‑up questions, build rapport. Operate in a fast‑paced environment, on your feet; handle variation in health plans and coverage with training; work quickly and expect the unexpected. Collaborate with a reliable team focused on career goals; this is the first step of a healthcare career at R1 RCM. Requirements High School Diploma or GED Excellent customer service experience For this US-based position, the base pay range is $16.00–$22.30 per hour.
