Hospitalist opportunity in Rio Rancho, NM

New Mexico (Physician/MD qualifications required) Hospitalist- Nocturnist - Hospitalist opportunity in Rio Rancho, NM

Great opportunity to join a well-established team of 27 physicians and 4 advanced practitioners at our Rio Rancho location. Our team comprises clinicians from diverse geographic, educational, and training backgrounds. As a smaller community hospital, we work closely with our hospital partners to make meaningful changes.

Position Highlights:

Hospitalists do respond to codes but are not part of the Rapid Response team.
Procedures that are required:
Paracentesis (2 per month)
Lumbar puncture (usually less than one per month)
Thoracenteses, small bore chest tube (2 per month. But we can always consult a Pulmonologist for this).
Qualifications:

Board certified|eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
Active medical license or eligible to become licensed in New Mexico.
Authorized to work in the United States.
