Industrial Engineer - 121566As an Industrial Engineer for John Deere Cylinder Internal Platform located in Moline, IL, you will:Develop labor standards and improve process flow through manufacturing operation.Identify, develop, and manage projects that improve the operational efficiency, or create cost savings.Participate in analysis, development and implementation of new manufacturing processes and technology.Mentor/Instruct remote resources on establishing routings, methods, layouts, tools, costs, methods documentation and labor standards for revisions to current operations and/or new parts or programs of moderate scope.VISA Sponsorship is NOT available for this positionWhat Skills You Need3 or more years experience with shop floor manufacturing, incentive pay systems and work measurementUnderstanding of basic motion and time study and lean manufacturing principlesProficient using engineering tools and software systems such as WPlanner, MPPlanner, SAP, Recon and FIA2 or more years experience working with multi-functional groups in a team environmentProficient in Microsoft Office softwareDemonstrated good written and verbal (English) communications skillsWhat Makes You Stand OutTrained in Industrial Engineering policies and proceduresExperience in Assembly, Machining and Weld manufacturing environmentsProven communication skills who has an ability to influence without authorityExperience in project management and business planningProficient applying lean manufacturing principles for process improvementsExperience in roles that demonstrate an understanding of key drivers for productivity improvementExperience with process and line design, material presentation, cycles of imbalance and visual managementEducationIdeally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Electrical), Analytics, Computer Science, or a similar mathematics-based disciplineWhat You'll GetAt John Deere, you are empowered to create a career that will take you to where you want to go while working in an inclusive team environment.
