Our small real estate company is seeking a Property Manager. We are looking for a person that enjoys working independently, requires minimal supervision, but also knows when to ask questions if help is needed. The job provides flexibility in hours and is a great place to further your real estate career including launching your own business in real estate.
Responsibilities:
- Attract qualified tenants / advertising and staging
- Monthly collections and reporting
- Investigate and resolve tenant complaints
- Update and improve properties to increase return on investment / be able to work with contractors
- Ensure all work order and repair requests are processed in a timely fashion including tracking
- Enforce lease policies and suggest lease improvements
- Market pricing analysis to ensure properties are competitively priced
- Prepare and complete evictions as needed
- Monthly / Quarterly / Annual P&L Analysis
- Work with code enforcement to ensure properties are in compliance with city ordinance
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years experience in property management preferred
- Familiarity with real estate contracts and leases
- Basic knowledge of Texas residential tenancy laws
- Knowledge of Excel required and Windows operating system
- Excellent organization skills
- Excellent communication skills (written/verbal)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Bilingual a bonus (English/Spanish)
