Part-Time Junior Accountant

Client: Digital Advertising Firm Role: Part-Time Junior Accountant Pay Rate: $23/hr - $25/hr Location: Manhattan, NY (*Union Square*) - 3 days per week Hours: 9:30am - 6:00pm (8 hour work day) Job Description: Core Responsibilities Accounts Payable Management: Manage the full-cycle AP process within NetSuite, processing approximately 10–15 invoices daily. High-Volume Expense Oversight: Lead the management of credit card expenses, including: Processing 50–60 personal reimbursement reports bi-weekly. Reconciling ~40 corporate card expense reports weekly. Managing 5–10 virtual cards per day. Month-End Support: Take initiative on routine tasks to streamline the workflow for the Accounting Director and Senior Accountant, ensuring a timely and accurate month-end close. Reconciliation: Actively reconcile details and investigate discrepancies to ensure all financial data is accurate. Payroll (Growth Opportunity): Support bi-weekly payroll processing. While prior experience is not required, you will be trained to take on these responsibilities over time.
