JOB DESCRIPTION

West Michigan organization, is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable accountant to join their team in a part-time, on-site capacity. This role supports core accounting operations in a collaborative and structured environment and is not expected to convert to full-time. Responsibilities include:

• Processing and reviewing financial transactions with accuracy
• Managing shared inbox communications and responding to inquiries
• Assisting with reconciliations, reporting, and general accounting tasks
• Researching and resolving discrepancies
• Maintaining organized and accurate financial records
• Supporting internal processes across the accounting function

• Part-time, weekday mornings with some flexibility
• On-site in West Michigan

• Strong Excel skills (spreadsheets and formulas)
• Experience with accounting systems and Microsoft tools
• High attention to detail and organization
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities
• Strong communication skills
