What To Expect

Hulst Jepsen Physical Therapy is seeking a part-time billing assistant. The position is 24-28 hours per week at $15/hr. This position includes competitive benefits, including Paid Time Off, Employer Paid Life Insurance, 401(k), and Profit Sharing. This position will be in-person, located at our Administrative Office at 7199 Kalamazoo Ave SE, Suite 234, Caledonia, MI 49316.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Processing mail and answering phones
• Preparing billing deposits
• Contacting patients regarding outstanding balances
• Sending paper claims
• Assisting with other billing-related tasks as needed

Job requirements:

• Extremely detail-oriented
• Exceptional interpersonal, customer service, communication, organizational, accuracy, thoroughness, and stress management skills.
• Sound judgment on when to ask for help and what should be referred to management.
• Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines, and easily adapt to changing situations in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness and flexibility to perform tasks of varying levels with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Maintain a professional image as a representative of the company.
