Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our accounting team. This role is responsible for managing the full-cycle accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, and maintaining strong vendor relationships. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong attention to detail.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our accounting team. This role is responsible for managing the full-cycle accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, and maintaining strong vendor relationships. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Process high-volume vendor invoices and ensure accuracy and timely payment
- Review, code, and match invoices to purchase orders (3-way matching)
- Resolve invoice discrepancies and follow up with vendors as needed
- Prepare and process payments via check, ACH, and wire transfers
- Maintain accurate vendor records, including W-9 documentation and payment history
- Reconcile vendor statements and accounts to ensure accuracy
- Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding invoices and payment status
- Assist with month-end close, reporting, and account reconciliations
- Maintain organized records of invoices, payments, and supporting documentation
- Support audit requests and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- 2+ years of accounts payable or related accounting experience
- Experience with full-cycle AP processing and high-volume invoice management
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes
- Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUPs, PivotTables preferred)
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Dynamics, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with vendors and internal teams
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Experience with month-end close and reconciliations
- Background in a high-volume or multi-entity environment
