Job Responsibilities

• Craft Individualized Treatment Plans: Understand patient needs and formulate specialized therapy plans to help them attain their functional aspirations.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply research-driven methods to enhance patients' motor skills, cognitive function, and daily living tasks.
• Collaborate with Multi-Disciplinary Teams: Partner closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Instruct patients and their families on therapeutic strategies to encourage ongoing progress in their home environments.
• Track and Evaluate Progress: Document clinical results and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure patients are continually progressing.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited organization
• Ongoing education or certification in advanced techniques encouraged and supported

Licenses and Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) credential
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
