Customer Service Representative
This PART-TIME position is for a Customer Service Representative in support of a local State Farm Agency. The Agency is located at 112 W Harrison Ave, New Orleans, LA 70124. In-office hour requirements are 9 a.m.- 3 p.m. (with a 30-minute lunch break) 5 days/week. Total weekly hours are 27.5 hours/week. This schedule can be flexible for the right candidate. The position requires you to have your Louisiana Property & Casualty insurance license. Having a Life & Health insurance license is a bonus! If you already have State Farm experience, that is a bonus as well! We look forward to connecting with you if you are the ideal customer-focused and empathetic team member we are searching for. Responsibilities
- Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers as needed.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions and billing clarification.
- Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
- Use exemplary communication to efficiently meet the needs of customers while promoting the development of our business.

- Dedicated to customer service
- Able to effectively relate to a customer, answer their questions, and anticipate their needs.
- Excellent communication skills to assist customers and coordinate with other agency team members
- Proactive in problem-solving

- Hourly pay plus commission/bonus - Pay rate is determined based on active insurance licenses, insurance experience, and State Farm specific experience
