Willow Garden Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate licensed mental health therapist to join our team on a full-time basis. Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, providing flexibility while maintaining a supportive workplace culture. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with other professionals to ensure integrated care. The work hours are structured from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential flexibility required to adapt to patient schedules and needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed trauma-informed mental health assessments to accurately evaluate patients' trauma histories and identify tailored treatment approaches.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, focusing on promoting trauma recovery, resilience-building, and holistic well-being.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing patients a safe space to process their trauma, learn coping strategies, and engage in healing practices.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive and coordinated care.
\n
• Provide timely crisis intervention and emotional support for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available healthcare resources.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation in alignment with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Engage actively in case consultations and team meetings, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and quality improvement.

• Stay informed on the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance your professional skills and effectuate better patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily serves individuals who have faced significant traumatic experiences and are seeking support in their recovery journey. Our clientele may range from those dealing with PTSD to individuals experiencing complex trauma and associated dissociative disorders. Your expertise will play a crucial role in their healing process, guiding them toward resilience and renewal.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Kansas.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is highly preferred.
\n
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders, treatment modalities, and resilience-building strategies.
\n
• Demonstrated experience delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions and therapies.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, necessary for creating a non-judgmental and compassionate therapeutic relationship.

• The ability to maintain composure under high-stress situations, ensuring a calm environment for patients.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and essential computer applications.
\n
• A collaborative mindset, willing to work as part of a diverse and multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• A track record of engaging positively with trauma survivors and demonstrated effectiveness in trauma-informed care practices.

• Experience in leading group therapy sessions and educational workshops is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n
