Position Overview
We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time 1:1 school nursing position in Prior Lake, MN. The LPN will provide dedicated nursing care and support to one student throughout the school day.
The student has a tracheostomy and requires suctioning, along with ongoing nursing support throughout the school day.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 nursing care to the assigned student
- Perform tracheostomy care and suctioning as needed
- Monitor the student's health and respond to medical needs
- Communicate with school staff and the student's care team
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation
Requirements
- Active Minnesota LPN license
- Experience with tracheostomy care and suctioning
- Pediatric or school nursing experience preferred
- Ability to provide consistent 1:1 care throughout the school day
Start Date: ASAP End Date: December, with likely extension through the end of the school year Schedule: Full-Time Pay: Hourly rate based on experience and school budget Benefits: Available for eligible full-time employees
