This position offers an excellent mix of outpatient and inpatient consultative work in a collaborative, well-supported environment with a strong APP and hospitalist infrastructure. ---# Position Highlights:Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Setting: Primarily outpatient, with inpatient consults only Patient Volume: - Physicians see 15–18 patients per day (option for higher volume if desired) - APPs see 10–12 patients per day Inpatient Coverage: - Average hospital census: 20–30 patients daily - 1:5 call rotation (transitioning to 1:7 as recruitment expands) - Hospitalists handle admissions and inpatient APPs manage follow-up care Afterhours Call: One weeknight block every 5 weeks Weekend Call: Friday–Sunday every 5 weeks EMR: Epic ---# Compensation & Benefits:Guaranteed Annual Base Salary: - $550,000–$600,000 (Years 1–2) - $650,000 (Years 3–5) WRVU Productivity Model (beginning after guaranteed period) Quality Bonus Program available Signing Bonus and Relocation Assistance Education Loan Repayment Opportunity 5-Year Contract with Stable Base Guarantee Comprehensive Benefits Package including Health, Dental, Vision, Disability, and Retirement CME Allowance: $5,000 annually Paid Malpractice Coverage with Tail ---# Practice Environment:Collaborative multidisciplinary cancer care model Dedicated inpatient APP support to minimize physician call burden Robust referral network across multiple hospital campuses Modern infusion suites and comprehensive oncology services ---# About the Community: Located in New York’s Capital Region, Albany offers a vibrant blend of urban sophistication and natural beauty.
