This includes continuous service improvement through the modernization of IT system infrastructure.CACI is looking for an experienced, innovative, and motivated Tier 2 IT Operations Specialist to support the mission objectives and needs of the customer, the Defense Intelligence Agency. In this role you will support day‑to‑day operations, perform Tier 2 troubleshooting, execute maintenance tasks, assist senior specialists, and help ensure consistent delivery of enterprise IT capabilities across DIA’s classified and unclassified ecosystems.The position is contingent upon award of the DIA SITE III CIO Infrastructure Services (CIS) contract.Responsibilities:Serves as a key member of the global, 24/7 operations team supporting all infrastructure, devices, products, and solutionsProvides comprehensive Tier 2 support, including incident analysis, troubleshooting, break/fix, and hands-on touch labor across multiple IT domainsCoordinates with Tier 3 resources for troubleshootingPerforms scheduled and ad hoc maintenance, updates, and upgrades per authorized service interruption schedulesProvides continuous patch management for designated infrastructure (workstations, servers) across all networks and security domainsProvides information and coordinates on approved Plan of Action and MilestonesMonitors and analyzes capacity, performance, and service-level metrics to maintain optimal infrastructure utilization and prevent incidentsParticipates in Continual Service Improvement (CSI) by researching new technologies and articulating evolutionary benefits to stakeholdersUses Lab facilities to promote incident resolution and test the feasibility of new designsAids in the development of cases and scripts for Beta and Acceptance testing to ensure complete coverage prior to deploymentSupports implementation and transfer of engineered solutions through Blue/Green fieldingCollaborates with Engineering teams, Tier 3 specialists, and Government stakeholders to refine requirements and ensure system reliability and operabilityWorks with technical writers to develop and maintain SOPs and knowledge base artifactsAids in creating CDRL documentation, reports, and dataQualifications:You will bring:A mix of skills and experience with:Operating Systems & PlatformsCloud and On-Prem Storage & Data ManagementSystem Patching & ComplianceDatabase & Monitoring SupportSharePoint AdministrationVirtual Desktop AdministrationA mix of experience with these technologies:Windows ServerRed Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)Active Directory & Group Policy (GPO)VMware vSphere / ESXiNetApp (ONTAP)Dell Storage (Data Domain / FluidFS)Storage Area Networks (SAN / NAS)Commvault, Veeam, or Veritas BackupInfoBloxMicrosoft SCCM / MECMWSUS (Windows Server Update Services)Red Hat SatelliteNessus / ACAS vulnerability scannersMicrosoft SQL ServerOracle Database basicsSolarWinds, Splunk, or Microsoft SCOMBasic T-SQL queryingRequired:Must hold a current Top Secret SCI clearance with ability to obtain poly prior to startDOD 8140 Certification applicable to role (minimum Security+)An AA and 10+ years of experience, BS/BA and 8+ years of experience, MS/MA and 6+ years of experience, or PhD and 4+ years of experienceMinimum of 4 years of hands-on experience integrating, operating, and maintaining IT hardware and software solutionsApplicable vendor, professional or OEM specific certificationAbility to coordinate effectively with Tier 3 and Engineering resources for advanced troubleshooting and work closely with technical writers and engineering peersWillingness to learn new skills and new technologies.Desired:Degree in Science, Technology, or EngineeringExperience supporting mission environments with 24/7 operational requirementsBroad, working knowledge across multiple IT disciplines, including endpoint systems, storage arrays, platform administration, system patching, and enterprise monitoring toolsFamiliarity with IC ITE services and classified environmentsFamiliarity with Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) or evaluating new storage technologiesITIL 4 Foundation Certification-What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity.At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
