Job Summary:

Performs and assists with Cardiac and Vascular Radiographic examinations, specializing in Cath Lab and Electrophysiology procedures. Operates sophisticated imaging equipment to support diagnostic and interventional cardiology treatments in a high-volume clinical setting.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Operate diagnostic imaging equipment to produce contrast-enhanced radiographs of the heart and cardiovascular system.
  
  
• 
  Assist physicians with complex interventional procedures, including cardiac catheterizations and electrophysiology studies.
  
  
• 
  Position and instruct patients to ensure safety and optimal imaging quality during examinations.
  
  
• 
  Maintain a high standard of clinical care, applying technical expertise and organizational skills efficiently.
  
  
• 
  Train and mentor staff on technical procedures, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  
  
• 
  Contribute to hiring and promotion decisions by providing input on staff performance and skills.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an Associates Degree or equivalent experience; Bachelors Degree preferred.
  
  
• 
  Possess ARRT certification; state licensure as a Radiologic Tech preferred.
  
  
• 
  Recent minimum of two years experience in cardiac or vascular imaging; specialty experience as a Special Procedures Technologist preferred.
  
  
• 
  Maintain current BLS certification; CPR certification required.
  
  
• 
  Valid fluoroscopy certification required; applicable state licenses preferred.
  
  
• 
  Complete hospital-specific certifications such as HLFS and crisis prevention training.
