Job Summary:

Performs diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment to produce high-quality radiographs, supporting physicians in patient diagnosis and care. Ensures patient safety, prepares equipment, and maintains accurate documentation throughout each procedure.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Operate X-ray equipment to produce diagnostic images according to physician requests.
  
  
• 
  Position and instruct patients to ensure proper imaging and patient comfort.
  
  
• 
  Prepare, calibrate, and maintain imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  
  
• 
  Explain procedures to patients and answer questions to promote understanding and cooperation.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patients during exams, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
  
  
• 
  Document exam details accurately and verify images on PACS for physician review.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an Associates Degree in radiologic technology or equivalent.
  
  
• 
  Certified as an ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R) or equivalent.
  
  
• 
  Licensed as a Radiologic Technologist in California or HI.
  
  
• 
  Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved provider.
  
  
• 
  Hold or obtain fluoroscopy license within six months of hire in states requiring it.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate at least two years of recent radiology experience in a clinical setting.
