Join Mama Jeans BBQ as a Prep Cook/Smokehouse Help and be an integral part of our kitchen team, specializing in preparing and smoking delicious BBQ meats. This role supports food preparation and ensures the kitchen operates efficiently and hygienically during 8-hour shifts within a medium-sized team environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist in food preparation tasks
- Smoke meats to achieve signature flavors
- Handle ingredients safely and maintain inventory
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation standards
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in food preparation
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of food safety practices
- Familiarity with meat smoking techniques
- Proficient knife skills
- Experience operating kitchen equipment
