Medium Enterprise Account Executive, Customer Base - FSI

About the Role Workday’s Enterprise Sales team is growing and we are looking for Account Executives who will drive incremental add‑on business into strategic named accounts. In this role you will work closely with existing customers to identify, build and execute solutions that deliver long‑lasting value. Responsibilities Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers with a focus on upselling via deal management. Perform account planning for assigned accounts, coordinating with pre‑sales and other resources to ensure strategic alignment. Drive strategic add‑on and renewal business of Workday solutions within Medium Enterprise customers. Coordinate cross‑functionally with Workday’s internal teams (pre‑sales, digital, value & bid‑management, marketing, technical and sales support). Qualifications 4+ years of experience selling SaaS/Cloud‑based ERP, HCM, Financial, Planning, or Analytics solutions to C‑level executives from a field sales position. 4+ years of experience negotiating deals with various C‑Suite Executives to close opportunities. 4+ years of experience building relationships with existing customers for add‑on or incremental business. 4+ years of experience developing long‑term account strategies with existing customers. Experience managing longer deal cycles beyond 6 months and handling large deal sizes. Understanding of the strategic competitive landscape of the industry and the ability to position Workday solutions within accounts. Experience leveraging and partnering with internal team members on account strategies. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Pay & Benefits Base salary ranges for the primary location are $137,400‑$167,600 USD. The role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan, role‑specific commission or bonus, and annual refresh stock grants. Compensation offers will consider geography, experience, skills, job duties and business need.
