We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant with Emergency Department experience to provide locum tenens coverage in a dynamic ED setting. This role is ideal for a confident Emergency Medicine PA who enjoys fast-paced care, works well as part of a collaborative clinical team, and is comfortable covering rotating day and night shifts.

• Position: Locum Tenens Physician Assistant - Emergency Medicine
• Location: Everett, Pennsylvania area
• Setting: Emergency Department
• Schedule: Rotating 12-hour shifts including 7a-7p, 12p-12a, 1p-11p, 7p-7a, and 10a-10p
• Weekly Commitment: Approximately 6-12 shifts per month
• Shift Duration: 12 hours
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $3,670-$3,930
• Start Date: December 1, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• License: Active Pennsylvania Physician Assistant license required

• 1+ year of Emergency Department experience required
• Physician Assistants only; Nurse Practitioners cannot be considered
• Must be local enough to commute in for shifts
• Ability to work night shifts required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications through AHA or Red Cross
• Stroke certification required
• NIHSS must be kept current annually
• Stroke CME and EMTALA education compliance required
• ATLS is not required

• Evaluate and treat Emergency Department patients across a wide range of acuity levels
• Provide patient care with a focus on lower-acuity ED cases while supporting overall departmental flow
• Perform administrative and clinical review tasks, including radiology and blood work review
• Assist with triage and tech responsibilities when needed
• Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and clinical support staff to ensure efficient patient care delivery
• Maintain required stroke competencies, education, and compliance-related training
