The Utility Lead is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing utility operations, supporting restaurant teams, and ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, food safety, and guest service. This role works closely with management to lead utility team members, coordinate daily assignments, and maintain operational excellence throughout the airport terminal.

What You'll Do

• Lead, supervise, train, and deploy utility team members to ensure efficient operations across all assigned workstations.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate daily priorities, goals, and operational updates.
• Coordinate station assignments, breaks, and daily responsibilities throughout the shift.
• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming deliveries while ensuring products meet quality standards.
• Maintain accurate inventory and operational logs.
• Label, date, rotate, and properly store products following food safety guidelines and FIFO procedures.
• Perform dishwashing duties and ensure proper sanitation of kitchen equipment and work areas.
• Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked kitchens, storage rooms, and workstations.
• Fulfill distribution requests by preparing, delivering, and stocking products throughout multiple restaurant concepts within the terminal.
• Conduct quality inspections of fulfillment orders before distribution.
• Remove trash and maintain cleanliness throughout all restaurant locations.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning tasks to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
• Uphold Villa Restaurant Group brand standards and act as a role model for team members.
• Deliver exceptional guest service by assisting guests with directions, recommendations, and information about our restaurant concepts.
• Support other operational areas as needed and perform additional duties assigned by management.

What We're Looking For

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous restaurant, utility, warehouse, food service, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication and team leadership skills.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to support multiple restaurant concepts and operational areas.
• Ability to lift, move, and transport supplies safely.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and weather-related operational needs.
• Ability to obtain and maintain airport security clearance.
