Schedule Full-time, 1.0 FTE; exact shift details depend on scheduling needs. The pediatric clinic operates from 8 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday. Job Description This position focuses on providing outpatient Speech-Language Pathology evaluations and treatments for both adult and pediatric patients. The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for patient assessment, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapy interventions to enhance functional abilities. Responsibilities Provide services based on physician referrals in various settings, including outpatient and home health. Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy treatment plans. Document patient encounters, treatment plans, and progress in accordance with hospital policies. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members regarding patient care and equipment needs. Educate patients and families regarding therapy exercises and self-care methods. Supervise support staff, students, or interns as necessary. Participate in community service initiatives and health promotion efforts. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinical space. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Alaska. Certified Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP). Basic Life Support certification. Experience in pediatric and outpatient settings preferred.
