About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required License: Active Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA), TNCC, NIHSS Must-Have: First-time travelers accepted as long as experience requirements are met Description: RN position in the Emergency Room for night shifts. Hours are from 19:00 to 07:30. Various days of the week required. Patient ratios are 1:4 for nights. Must possess the required certifications. Strong skills in arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, and care of ventilated patients are essential. Candidates should be equipped to manage central lines, isolation precautions, IV vasopressors, and dysrhythmias. Triage experience is an asset. Interdisciplinary support is available, including IV teams and respiratory services. The unit cares for a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Daily census averages around 175 patients. Travelers may float to sister facilities as needed based on unit requirements. Pre-approved time off is limited during specific periods. Completion of facility-specific modules is required during the assignment.
