Enhance your expertise in a dynamic, high-growth environment.Job DescriptionAsset Management Director OverviewThe Asset Management Director will oversee aviation asset management within a leading asset management group for a diversified global firm.Lead collateral valuation, asset monitoring, and internal processes across the aircraft portfolio, ensuring optimal asset performance and risk management.Collaborate with credit, legal, and origination teams throughout the deal lifecycle, ensuring asset risk is properly identified and documented.Draft and present asset-related sections of investment memoranda, providing critical insights for decision-making processes.Manage relationships with aircraft management companies, appraisers, brokers, and other third-party service providers to enhance operational efficiency.Leverage advanced tools and analytics platforms to enhance valuation accuracy and reporting capabilities.Travel as needed for aircraft inspections, appraiser/broker meetings, conferences, and deal-related diligence.Join a top-tier aviation asset management team within a globally recognized organization.Asset Management Director Key Responsibilities & DutiesConduct collateral valuation and appraisal reviews for business aircraft financings, producing defensible value conclusions for committee use.Monitor portfolio aircraft for value, maintenance, and market risk, proactively addressing deterioration or covenant concerns.Lead remarketing and sale efforts for aircraft collateral, negotiating with buyers and lessees effectively.Review aircraft-specific legal and transaction documentation, ensuring asset-related terms and risks are properly addressed.Utilize AI-powered tools and data analytics platforms for scenario analysis and reporting enhancements.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless asset management processes and risk mitigation strategies.Develop and maintain relationships with industry stakeholders to support operational goals and objectives.Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership, contributing to strategic decision-making.Asset Management Director Job RequirementsBachelor of Science (BS) degree and eligibility to work in the United States.ASA certification and 7+ years of relevant business aviation industry experience.Direct experience in business aircraft financings, from valuation through credit approval and closing.Proficiency in aircraft management company operations and familiarity with legal/transaction documentation.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information effectively.Experience with AI-powered tools, data analytics platforms, and advanced Excel modeling.Willingness and ability to travel as required for inspections and meetings.Join a leading aviation asset management group within a globally diversified firm.
