Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist (RT PEDS) to work in a respiratory unit located in St. Louis, Missouri. This position involves providing respiratory care to adult critical care and trauma patients within a high-volume, busy emergency department environment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: St. Louis, Missouri
• Schedule: Nights, 3x12, 1830 - 0700, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RRT license with the Missouri Board for Respiratory Care; BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association; 1 year of experience in adult critical care and trauma settings.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with blood gas draw, blood gas processing on GEM, and blood gas interpretation.
• Additional Information: The respiratory unit serves adult patients throughout various hospital areas, including SICU, CCU, CVICU, ED, Neuro, and Trauma units. Pediatric patients are stabilized in the emergency department and transported to a sister hospital.
