This role ensures lab readiness, infrastructure stability, and efficient execution of hardware testing while acting as the central operational bridge across engineering, product, and vendor teams.Your roleOwn and manage day-to-day lab operations, ensuring environments are stable, organized, and ready for engineering useMaintain and optimize lab infrastructure including servers, racks, networking, cabling, and device ecosystemsOversee end-to-end hardware lifecycle management (intake, configuration, deployment, tracking, and decommissioning)Enable hardware validation by reproducing, diagnosing, and documenting system-level issuesPrepare and support lab environments for testing, including device setup, connectivity, and integration workflowsCoordinate cross-functionally with engineering, program management, vendors, and field teams for seamless executionEstablish standardized processes, runbooks, and continuous improvements to drive operational efficiency and scalabilityYour skills and experienceProven experience in lab operations, hardware infrastructure, or systems engineering environmentsStrong knowledge of hardware lifecycle management and configuration controlHands-on exposure to IoT, networking, or distributed hardware systemsAbility to troubleshoot complex hardware and system-level issues in a lab settingExperience working cross-functionally with engineering, product, and external vendor teamsStrong organizational and multitasking skills supporting concurrent programs and testing cyclesExpertise in documenting processes, standardizing workflows, and improving operational efficiencyThe base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $73,150 - $174,000.Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting.
