Distribution AssociateMid shift (Tue-Thurs) available at Lowe's distribution in North Vernon.Lowe's state-of-the-art distribution centers play a critical role in supplying stores across the country with the products customers need every day.Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Distribution Associate Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 20.28 / hourFull Time work availableThird Shift (Tuesday through Thursday from 04:30pm to 05:00am)Accurately receive, process, stock, and select merchandise for shipmentPerform manual material handling, including grasping, lifting (floor to overhead), and carrying heavy and/or bulky merchandise.Load and unload trailers by hand, from floor to ceiling, and place/remove merchandise onto/from conveyors, racks, pallets, and into/out of boxes.Safely operate motorized and non-motorized equipment to unload trailers, transport, select, stock, and load merchandise for shipmentConduct quality checks on incoming and outgoing merchandise, identifying and reporting manufacturers' defects and damage, ensuring merchandise is handled without damage during processing.Meet established safety, accuracy, attendance, and production standards for all assigned tasks.Distribution Associate Qualifications:Proven ability to frequently lift and carry merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds repetitively, and occasionally up to 75 pounds, from floor to overhead.Demonstrated experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.Proficiency in using RF scanners or similar inventory management devices (e.g., LRT).Experience with pick/pack processes and general merchandise handling.Strong safety orientation and adherence to all personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Must be able to continuously move throughout the facilityComfortable working in varying conditions, including extreme temperatures and noisy environments.Proficiency in English speaking, reading and writing.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
