As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide professional customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver's license and TSA-issued TWIC. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour Valid Driver's LicenseTSA Issued TWIC Job Schedule: DayTimeSat06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate access and visitor records. Assist with directing commercial vehicle, delivery, and contractor access in accordance with site procedures for an industrial terminal location. Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established reporting channels. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, facility areas, and the perimeter to identify and report security-related concerns and help to deter unauthorized activity. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located. Possess a TSA-issued TWIC. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
