Busser

Job Summary:

The busser at K1 Speed plays a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and smooth operation of the facility. They are responsible for clearing and resetting tables, maintaining cleanliness in the dining area, and assisting with various tasks as assigned by management. The busser contributes to creating a positive and enjoyable experience for our guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Table Maintenance: Clearing and cleaning tables promptly after guests have finished dining or racing, ensuring all dishes, utensils, and trash are properly removed. Resetting tables with clean tableware, napkins, and condiments.

2. Dining Area Cleanliness: Sweeping and mopping floors regularly, wiping down tables, chairs, and highchairs to maintain cleanliness. Emptying trash receptacles and ensuring they are properly disposed of.

3. Assistance to Servers: Assisting servers with refilling water glasses, delivering food orders, and providing support as needed during busy periods.

4. Restroom Maintenance: Regularly checking and restocking restroom supplies, cleaning and sanitizing restrooms to ensure a clean and pleasant environment for guests.

5. Support Teamwork: Collaborating with other team members, including servers, hosts, and kitchen staff, to ensure efficient and smooth operations. Assisting teammates with various tasks, such as running food or restocking supplies.

6. Customer Service: Providing friendly and prompt assistance to guests, answering questions, and addressing any concerns or requests in a professional and courteous manner.

7. Adherence to Safety and Sanitation Standards: Following proper safety and sanitation guidelines at all times, ensuring compliance with health department regulations. Reporting any maintenance or safety issues to management promptly.

Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a busser or in a similar role preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards.
- Physical stamina and the ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects as needed.

Work Schedule:
Busser positions at K1 Speed often require evening, weekend, and holiday availability, as these are typically peak times for guests. Flexibility in scheduling is important.
