Responsibilities include conducting thorough patient evaluations to diagnose neurological conditions, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, developing and implementing treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, performing complex surgical procedures on the brain, spine, and peripheral nerves, collaborating with anesthesiologists and surgical teams to ensure successful outcomes, providing compassionate and comprehensive care to patients with neurological conditions, monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary, educating patients and their families about medical conditions and treatment options, working closely with other medical professionals, participating in multidisciplinary conferences to discuss patient cases and treatment strategies, contributing to a collaborative and supportive working environment, engaging in ongoing research activities related to neurosurgery, staying current with advancements in neurosurgical techniques and technologies, and contributing to medical education through training and mentoring residents and medical students.

Qualifications include a medical degree, board certification in neurosurgery, fellowship trained, current and valid medical license, proven experience as a practicing neurosurgeon, demonstrated proficiency in a wide range of neurosurgical procedures, all subspecialties are welcomed, but interest in spine, tumor, or endovascular is of particular interest as we try to grow these subdivisions, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Dedication to staying abreast of new developments and advancements in the field is also required.
