Design Consultant

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and creative Design Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting customers in making informed decisions about their design needs, providing exceptional customer service, and driving sales through effective account management. Your expertise in layout design and retail sales will help create beautiful and functional spaces that meet our clients' expectations. Responsibilities Engage with customers to understand their design preferences and requirements. Provide expert advice on layout design, lighting options, and product selection. Sell products effectively while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Utilize retail math to manage inventory and assist with pricing strategies. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales transactions. Collaborate with team members to ensure a cohesive approach to customer service and sales goals. Manage accounts by following up with clients to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business. Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and design techniques to provide informed recommendations. Requirements Proven experience in retail sales or a similar customer-facing role. Strong skills in layout design and the ability to visualize spaces effectively. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building relationships. Proficiency in retail math for managing sales and inventory effectively. Experience in lighting sales is a plus but not required. Multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to a diverse clientele. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
