The Manager must be knowledgeable in every aspect of the business, fully committed to inspiring associates, and uphold the highest level of customer service. They must drive profitable growth with integrity, continuously executing company policies and procedures while aligning with Fisher’s core values of quality and competitive pricing. Success in this role is measured through consistent achievement of company objectives, policies, and procedures. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Effectively manage day‑to‑day operations to meet and exceed company objectives aligned with core values. Ensure sales and expense priorities are met, achieving or surpassing budgeted financial goals including accounts receivable objectives. Maintain a safe and respectful atmosphere for associates and customers in all stores. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, DUTIES AND ABILITIES Drive business growth by exceeding sales, payroll, and profit goals with focus on accounts receivable and credit/collection objectives. Monitor and manage authorized inventory for maximum profitability and product availability. Contribute to effective pricing strategies in competitive markets. Maintain safety and security standards throughout the store. Deliver exceptional customer service, promptly addressing complaints and concerns. Ensure store appearance and merchandising meet or exceed company standards. Excel in a fast‑paced retail environment and make sound business decisions. Communicate effectively with peers, direct reports, and corporate management, verbally and in writing. Lead and develop high‑performing store and outside sales associates. Handle labor hours and payroll costs efficiently. Build strong relationships with associates, customers, support staff, peers, and supervisors. Coach and train associates to reach full potential. Schedule store coverage effectively and monitor all store activity. Understand inventory management, stocking levels, warehousing, parts distribution, and delivery systems. Possess a working knowledge of automotive systems. QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or GED equivalent; bachelor’s degree in business or a related field preferred. 2–3 years of experience managing others in a wholesale/retail environment. Valid driver’s license with satisfactory record; MVR report required before hire. Successful completion of a pre‑employment drug test. ASE certification preferred but not required at hire. Adherence to all Fisher Auto Parts policies, handbooks, and procedures. WORK SCHEDULE Primary schedule: Monday through Friday 7:20 AM to 5:30 PM and alternate Saturdays 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM. Flexibility for evenings and weekends is required to provide quality service and grow the business with profitability and integrity. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT Must stand, walk, sit, and use hands frequently; lift up to 50 lbs routinely and up to 100 lbs occasionally. Operate a motor vehicle as needed. Vision: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception; adjust focus. Exposure to wet/humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, high places, chemicals, weather, varying temperatures, electrical shock risk, bulk items, explosions, and vibration. Noise level moderate to light.
