Position Overview:

Join our team as an RN Critical Care specializing in Adult PACU at a premier Acute Care/Academic Medical Center in Syracuse. This role demands expertise in post-anesthesia care for adult patients within a dynamic critical care environment.

Work Schedule:
- Full-time position
- Day/Evening Shift
- 6 shifts of 12 hours every 2 weeks
- Day shifts: 07:00–19:30
- Evening shifts: 11:00–23:30
- Includes some weekends

Qualifications:

Education: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Licensure: Active New York State RN License
Certification: BLS certification (must be current or willing to recertify)
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an acute care facility (within the past 2 years)
- PACU experience is required
- Previous critical care experience is essential
Technical Skills: EPIC EMR proficiency (strongly preferred)
Soft Skills: Adaptability, critical thinking, and teamwork in fast-paced settings.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide specialized post-anesthesia care for adult critical care patients.
Monitor and manage patient recovery, complications, and pain control.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate documentation and patient management.
