Production Scheduler I

Job Summary: This position supports production planning and inventory control within the company. The successful candidate is responsible for supporting and demonstrating core organizational values, including integrity, safety, respect, customer focus, quality, innovation, and financial success. This role requires consistent, predictable attendance and the ability to work cross‑functionally to optimize inventory and scheduling efficiencies. Salary: $27.98 - $32 per hour Shift: First Work hours: 7 AM – 4 PM Education: No Degree Required Responsibilities Production Scheduling: Prepare and distribute weekly production schedules for primary manufacturing lines and secondary operations. Data Entry & Reporting: Perform daily production postings and generate daily labor efficiency reports by department and material. Inventory Analysis: Analyze plant inventory turns and identify slow‑moving inventory. Master Data Management: Create material codes and maintain material code master data within the SAP system. Stock Optimization: Collaborate with the Sales Manager and Plant Manager to maintain appropriate minimum and maximum inventory levels for stock materials. Reconciliation & Counts: Prepare and manage monthly inventory reconciliations for finished goods, raw materials, and resale items. Coordinate daily inventory cycle counts with yard and plant personnel. Logistics Coordination: Coordinate product transfers between manufacturing plants. Audit Preparation: Plan and prepare the facility for mid‑year and annual plant‑wide inventory audits. Compliance: Manage company compliance and regulatory reporting requirements with outside government agencies. Safety & Support: Attend safety meetings, abide by all internal and governmental regulatory safety rules, and ensure hazardous conditions are reported and corrected. Assist with research, special projects, and other duties as assigned.
