Purchasing Agent

We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Agent with direct HVAC industry experience to join our team. The Purchasing Agent will be responsible for sourcing, procuring, and negotiating the purchase of HVAC equipment.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Create precise and compliant purchase orders, adhering to company policies and standardsMonitor stock/inventory levels of assigned branch locations; order products based on forecasts of sales trendsOversee vendor relationships and negotiate competitive pricingCollaborate with other departments to determine material needs, specifications, and delivery timelinesExamine purchase requisitions for accuracy and completeness, promptly resolving any discrepanciesOversee and monitor purchase orders from initiation to delivery, ensuring timely receipt of goodsAddress discrepancies or damages with suppliers, ensuring seamless coordination of returns and replacementsQualifications:Experience in procurement, sourcing, or purchasing rolesFamiliarity with inventory control principlesComprehensive knowledge of HVAC parts & supplies (Required)Strong negotiation and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, OutlookDetail-oriented with great time management and organizational skillsExperience:3 Year HVAC experience (Required)Purchasing, Procurement, or Sourcing (Required) #J-18808-Ljbffr Team Air Distributing , LLC
