Pay Rate: $26.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a busy retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter theft, unauthorized activity, and/or other concerning behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas for suspicious activity, and/or assist with access control, loss prevention support, and incident documentation.
• Work with local leadership, team members, and/or first responders when needed to address medical, fire, or other emergency-related situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience or 5+ years of armed security-related experience.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
