Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all onsite construction activities as the primary field authority.
- Coordinate day-to-day operations for medium to large-scale mechanical projects.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to develop and maintain two-week look-ahead schedules.
- Oversee material logistics, deliveries, and staging areas to ensure steady workflow.
- Inspect all equipment installations to confirm they meet contract specifications.
- Lead safety meetings and conduct weekly toolbox talks with all field personnel.
- Track subcontractor performance and hold teams accountable for production goals.
- Manage tool and rental equipment inventory to minimize unnecessary costs.
- Update daily field logs, time sheets, and weld reports using mobile technology.
