Procurement Analyst

Source One is a consulting services company and we’re currently looking for the following individual to work as a consultant with our direct client, a regional energy and utility company in Hicksville, NY. No Third-Party, No Corp to Corp, No Sponsorship Now, Future or Current Temporary Authorization Title: Procurement Associate Hybrid, 1 day per week onsite (Mon-Fri, 40 hours) Contract Duration: 12 months, with likely extension Pay Rate: up to $43.35 per hour (w2) Responsibilities: Procurement Analyst is responsible for procuring services and/ormaterials consistent with the needs of our client's Procurement Operations Group. Procurement Analyst is responsible for accurate procurement planning, innovative sourcing, contract development and contract administration while maintaining compliance with enterprise procurement policies and procedures. This position is an individual contributor role that initiates and coordinates procurement activities which include preparation of bid packages, conducting pre-bid meetings, evaluating bids, negotiating terms & conditions, issue contracts, amendments, purchase orders and change orders as required. The Procurement Analyst independently negotiates and settles supplier claims and back-charges with guidance provided as needed. Additional responsibilities include fostering and implementing process improvement initiatives, client relationship management, communicating contractual commitments, and representing our client in the external marketplace. Procurement Analyst must have general knowledge of the sourcing process, prior experience in construction procurement, project management and contract law. Requirements: 4-5 years of Procurement experience 4-5 years of Supply Chain experience Microsoft Proficiency and Excel Spreadsheet experience required High School diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred High level written and verbal skills required Interpersonal skills and organizational skills Verbal and Written Communication Skills and reading for comprehension #J-18808-Ljbffr
