Overview Are you an experienced diesel mechanic looking to step out of the shop or earn extra income? Advanced Technology Institute (ATI) is seeking skilled Diesel Technicians to teach hands-on training to the next generation of heavy vehicle professionals. Thispart-timerole is designed for experienceddiesel technicians and mechanics who want to transition into a teaching role or supplement their income. Your real-world experience working on diesel engines, diagnostics, and repairs is what matters most—we’llprovide the training and support to help you succeed as an instructor. Prior teaching experience is notrequired– ATI provides the curriculum, lesson plans, and support. Schedule Part-time, 20hrs/week Flexible scheduling with day and evening options available What You’ll Do You will use your experience as a diesel technician to teach hands-on diesel repair and maintenance in a shop/lab environment Demonstrate real-world diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair techniques Guide students through practical exercises and industry-standard procedures Evaluate student progress and provide feedback to help them improve Maintain a safe, organized, and productive training environment Stay current with diesel technology and industry practices What You’ll Teach Instructors are not expected to teach every subject area—assignments are aligned with your specific experience and strengths.
