Registered Nurse - LDRP

Location: Spotsylvania, VA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night Shift: 19:00 - 07:00

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our LDRP unit. The LDRP unit consists of 10 labor and delivery beds, 3 triage spaces, and 2 operating room suites. Our team is comprised of around 30 skilled RNs who support patient-centered care and ensure the safety and comfort of mothers and newborns during labor and delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Perform labor and delivery nursing tasks including monitoring fetal heart rate and maternal vitals.
• Provide nursing care for patients undergoing inductions, cesarean sections, and spontaneous vaginal deliveries.
• Administer medications and manage pain relief strategies including epidurals and PCA.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to support maternal and neonatal health.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN license.
• NRP and BLS certifications are mandatory.
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring and ACLS are preferred.
