Registered Nurse - LDRP

Location: Spotsylvania, VA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night Shift: 19:00 - 07:00

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our LDRP unit. The LDRP unit consists of 10 labor and delivery beds, 3 triage spaces, and 2 operating room suites. Our team is comprised of around 30 skilled RNs who support patient-centered care and ensure the safety and comfort of mothers and newborns during labor and delivery.

Responsibilities:

Perform labor and delivery nursing tasks including monitoring fetal heart rate and maternal vitals.
Provide nursing care for patients undergoing inductions, cesarean sections, and spontaneous vaginal deliveries.
Administer medications and manage pain relief strategies including epidurals and PCA.
Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to support maternal and neonatal health.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Current RN license.
NRP and BLS certifications are mandatory.
Intermediate Fetal Monitoring and ACLS are preferred.
